ALWAYS Completely extinguish your fire before leaving the site. Sod your fireplace before lighting. Rake out the ashes, replace sods before leaving. Make it a point of pride to so leave your cooking area r~ that it is not apparent it has been used as such. NEVER Light a fire in a "fire area" except in the special fireplaces provided. Light a fire against a living tree or rotten log. Light a fire on another man's property without permission.
