S.A. CRICKETERS' TOUR.
The South "African cricketers are M splendid team, and I am sure no one grudges them their first Test "rubber at our expense, states a London critic. They have done wonderfully well financially, too. ■ ■ After the Leeds Test they had cleared expenses. At the moment tbey have a profit of £9000 in hand, and with six games still to play they ought to Bail for home with nearly £12,000. No previous team from South Africa has mad© a greater profit here than £1500. In Australia, too, the South Africans failed as money-spinners, but as I have remarked before, they have now "arrived."
