The Maryiebone Cricket Club's team opened its tour of Australia yesterday with a match against West Australia. Although a smart shower delayed the opening of play the perfect wicket was not affected. - , Maryiebone won the toss and had made 292 runs for seven wickets when stumps were drawn. < ..' , Smith played a forceful all-round innings, and Mitchell-Innes gave a stylish display. ,- ~, Tho visitors to-day completed their innings for 344 runs.
