TWO PARLIAMENTS?

FARMERS NOT INTERESTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVERiOAROILL, Friday. Little interest was shown to-day by members of the Southland provincial executive of the Farmers' Union in Mr. W. Hinchey's suggestion that the executive might discuss the advisability of having two Parliaments in New land, one in the North Island and one in the South Island, thus providing more equitable treatment for this part of the Dominion. "I think we should leave Mr. Hinchey to fight his own battles; there is far too much politics in this for the union," saTd one member. "Now that Mr. Hinchey is a candidate for Parliamentary honours it alters matters," said Mr.' J. Lynch, and the question was given no further consideration. Mr. Hinchey is the Democrat candidate for Wallace, and is standing against the Postmaster-General, the Hon. A. Hamilton.
