MODEL YACHTING.
ORAKEI CLUB'S OPENING. The model yacht racing season will be opened by the Orakei Club :on Monday, when a serieß of races for three-footers, four-footers and allcomers, also junior events, will be held. These races will not be confined to Orakei members, but are open to allcomers. This is an innovation by the Orakei Club and is to be commended to the notice of the other clubs for their opening events. The first, race on Labour Day will start at 10.30 a.m. It is expected that in addition to the large fleet of Orakei boats, a number will "O over from Ponsonby.
