RAIN AGAIN.
GARDENERS DELIGHTED. After several fine days rain again began .to fall last night and continued in intermittent showers throughout the f 1 ?! nX. nine this mor ning .48in had l-he fall became heavier to-day. The average rainfall for October is .i.Tlin but so far this month only 2.23 in have fallen, this being, the twelfth dsy out of the 23 that rain has fallen. Many gardeners in the suburbs welcomed the , rain as their gardens have become unusually dry at this time of the year. Indications are that the final week of this month will be rainy. The barometer is still falling and the wind is from the north-east.
