SCHOOLS' MANAGEMENT.
• APPRECIATION OP OFFICIALS. At the meeting of the schools' committee of the Auckland Rugby League, the chairman, Mr. A., Stanley, presented the secretary, Mr. L. Rout, with an encased fountain pen in token of appreciation of hid services during the .eerfson. Mr. Beyer, the Richmond coach, on behalf of his team which visited Ngaruawahia, and the management committee, presented Mr. Stanley with a gavel with a football-shaped head. It was reported that the B rep, team, which recently visited Ngaruawahia,. was kindlv shown over the meeting house, at the Maori pa by Princess Te Puea, to whom it was" decided to send: a of appreciation, together with a photograph of the team and a football for the boy players at the pa. ■ > - ■ 'The Richmond team was awarded the E' B. Bennett;" Cup for thej Lane,Becan J &an4 Marista third. Reference was. made : tp the improved equipment {oi teams during the season.
