STAY OF EXECUTION.
Hauptmann to Appeal to U.S. Supreme Court. DEATH SENTENCE POSTPONED. (Received 10 a.m.) NEW YORK, October 15. Th* Court of Errors and Appeals has granted a stay of execution in the case of Bruno Hauptmann, sentenced to death for the kidnapping and murder of the infant son of Colonel and Mrs. Charles Lindbergh. The stay, if granted in definitely, grants Hauptmann an opportunity of appealing against the sentence to the United States Supreme Court.
