PAPAKURA INSTITUTE.
The monthly meeting of the Papakura Women's Institute was presided over by the president Mrs. V. Houghton. The roll call was "The most useful thing in the kitchen." The competitions were puff pastry, floral spray and oven cloth. A demonstration of puff pastry was given by Mrs. E. C. Smith. Items were given hy Mrs. Juby (Wliangamarino), Mesdames Lever and Baulf, Misses Z. Charles : and Norah Clarke.
