GAOL FOR THEFT.
TWO MEN SENT TO PRISON, j Two men charged with theft were sent to gaol by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., in the Police Court this morning. James Patrick Cusack, a labourer, agod 34, was charged with stealing five pairs of blankets from the Salvation Army workmen's home and a single blanket from a city boardinghouse. Accused, for whom Mr. W. Noble appeared, was sent to gaol for a month. On a charge of stealing 14 sacks, valued at 7/, Peter Crasis, a carpcnter, aged 56, for whom Mr. Iv. C. Aekins appeared, was sent to gaol for three months. j
