CHARGE OF THEFT.
ROYAL MARINE IN COURT. HANDED OVER TO AUTHORITIES. Described on the charge sheet in the Police Court this morning us a Royal Marine of H.M.S. Diomede, Peter Rosby, a young man who was attired in civilian dress, appeared on a charge of stealing a suitcase and overcoat, valued,at £1 10/0, the property of James William Armstrong, on October 1. Oil the application of Senior Detective Hall- accused was handed over to the commanding officer of H.M.S. Philomel to be dealt with. Rosby left the Court in charge of a guard of three marines and an officer.
