DECREES NISI.

UNDEFENDED DIVORCES. WIFE WHO FOUND A LETTER. Two undefended petitions for divorce were heard by Mr. Justice Callan at the Supreme Court this morning. On the ground of misconduct on the part of respondent, Ruby Pearl Wilson (Mr. W. Schramm, instructed by Mr. J. W. Yarnall) sought dissolution of her marriage with John Louis Wilson. Petitioner stated that slip married Wilson in February, 1024. Five years ago her husband deserted her. and she took proceedings against him for maintenance for herself and children. She allowed these proceedings to lapse, and took him back again. They lived together till May 13 last, when she took the two children and left him. This was because of a letter she found which caused her to keep a watch upon him. Several times she saw. him meet a woman with a motor car and saw them drive away. When she taxed him about his association with the woman, respondent replied that he was "having his fun" with her.

Since they parted she had once met respondent. When she mentioned that she was taking proceedings for divorce he said that he wished the divorce to be hurried as he wanted to marry the other woman. Petitioner had been unable to learn the name of the woman or where she lived. Respondent had not maintained her or the children since she took him back. A decree nisi was granted. A decree nisi was granted Christine Catherine Blade (Mr. Sullivan) on her petition against Arthur Edward Blade. The parties were married in September, 1903, and separated by mutual consent in July, 1920, since when they had remained apart.
