In the second spell the home team was continually pressing, .and tho backs almost scored three or four times. Amid great excitement Shaw threw himself over tho line and'converted his own try. South of Scotland continued to dominate tho play, but Gilbert evened with a penalty goal from forty yards out. A minuto later Vorrath scored a try from a rush at tho corner. Gilbert failed to convert.
