AUCKLAND AND MOUNT ALBERT GRAMMAR. The Auckland Cricket Club met Mount Albert Grammar School at Mount Albert on Saturday afternoon. Before the game commenced the teams stood at attention in honour of the late Sir James Coatea, ono of the original members of the club. Scores:— Mount Albert Grammar School, 104 (Thorn st>, Brookes 25, Williamson 20). Bagnall took live wickets for 26, Nicolous two for IS, G. Wallace one for 48, G. Siddle one for lit, and Downie one for four. Auckland Cricket Club, 163 (G. Wallace 47, G. Siddle 20, Bagnall 21, Hately 17). Stuart took four wickets for 80, Klrkham two for 44, Stacey two for 12. Mount Albert Grammar won by one run; GRAMMAR V. AUCKLAND CLUB. A team representing the Auckland Cricket Club played a friendly match against the iirst eleven of the Auckland Grammar School on Saturday, the latter winning on the lirst innings by 18 runs. The scores were as follow :— Auckland CltiD.—First innings, 03 (G. M. Davis 25, IT. K Burton 17, E. G. Buckley 10, F. S. Taylor 12 not out). Bowling: Martin took three wickets, Jackson three, Hollies two, Fraser one. Auckland Grammar.—First lfinings. 111 (Leighton 30 retired, Arkinstall 18, Hollies 17). Bowling: Buckley took three wickets for 13 Taylor two for 10. PAPAKURA CLUB. Tho annual meeting of the Papakura Cricket 'Club was held on Friday. The report (lisclosed a record season, the club winning ; eight matches'out of 10 played, and being runners-tip in their competition.
