SEVENTY-FIVE YEARS.

ONEHUNGA PRESBYTERIANS. ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS. The main celebrations in connection with the 70tli anniversary of the Onehunga Presbyterian Church concluded yesterday when the Very Rev. Geo. Budd, missions superintendent, was the preacher morning and evening. His evening subject was entitled "Things that are vital." He adjured his hearers to discriminate in the Church work, and whilst having pride in the history of their Church to meet the needs of the present day, discarding all prejudices and "holding fast that which is good." In the afternoon a Sunday school rally was held, about 250 children from the main and branch Sunday schools being present. Mr. F. W. Beckett, the main school superintendent, presided, and the speaker, the Rev. Douglas Spence, of Knox Church. Parnell, told the storv of "The One Wise Man."

An old folks' reunion on Saturday afternoon, presided over by the minister, Rev. L. McMastcr, was attended by many aped past and present members, among those present over 00 years of ape being Mrs. Mary Whyte, the "mother" of the congregation, who will be 00 next month, and Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Glasgow, of Papaknra, who celebrated their diamond wedding recently. Messages were received from the Rev. Robt. Ferguson, who is in Cambuslang, Glasgow, a former minister, the Rev. H. E. Baldwin, of the Congregational Church at New Maiden, near London, and the Rev. John Craig, of New South Wales, former church members. Young People's Day is to be celebrated next Sunday when a memorial window to the late Miss Minnie Robb, for HO years a Sunday school teacher and officer, will be dedicated at the Sunday scholars' service in the •morning.
