KRUGER NATIONAL PARK.
As a result of representations to the late President Kruger in 1898. it was decided to make the Sabie Game Reserve a sanctuary for the preservation of the various forms of the Characteristic fauna of South Africa. The Sabie Unserve, now known as Kruger National Park, has since been increased to one of 8000 square miles, mainly of flat bush veldt which varies from park-like areas to denso bush.
