MILK VENDOR FINED.
A milk vendor, John ■ Pilkington, licensed by the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council, was fined £2 and costs this morning by Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., for selling milk obtained from an unlicensed producer. The defendant did not appear. Evidence was given that defendant had purchased milk at the farm of an unlicensed producer and sold it subsequently at his shop. When samples were taken by an inspector defendant admitted the breach of his license.
