SUVA’S NEW FIRE ALARMS.
MODERN SYSTEM INTRODUCED (From Our Own Correspondent.) SUVA, September 30. The active and progressive spirit of the Suva Municipal Council has been further illustrated by the installation of six modern fire alarms, a system which is the invention of Mr. G. Porter, of Dunedin. The equipment was installed by Mr. Porter personally. Six alarm boxes have been installed at the most vital points of the city;
