SHOW TO BE HELD.

A. AND P. AUTUMN FIXTURE.

OLD RING IS AVAILABLE.

Although the new sliowring will not be completed in time, the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association has decided to hold the annual autumn show at the Epsom showgrounds on February 28 and 29. Part of the original showrin"? is included in the area now being reformed, 'but the ring will be shifted towards the boundary of the Auckland Trotting Club's ground, so that the full area will still be available.

As the horse boxes have been removed to enable the reforming of the ground to ho carried on, horses will he accompanied in part of the cattle sheds. Wet weather had so delayed the work of reforming the showground that a few weeks ago it was feared that the association would not he able to hold the show, but sufficient area is still available for the show to he held without interfering with the contractor. Eventually the delay in the completion of the work is likely to prove more of a blessing than the reverse, as the freshly formed ground of the new \sliowring will have ample time in the 'next twelve months to settle down before it is used.
