SESSION'S END.
CURTAILING DISCUSSION. PROGRESS ON ESTIMATES. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. Extraordinarily good progress in the passing of the estimates has given clear indications that all parties are anxious to complete the session's work without delay. The usual day's discussion on the first item was replaced yesterday by an hour's talk and in the evening, though the Government secured urgency to enable the sitting to continue after midnight this was not needed, as by that time votes totalling £1,019,000 had bc.cn adopted, these relating to the Prime Minister's Department, naval and land defence and agriculture.
