GYMNASIUM DISPLAY.
The members of the circles in the Physical Arts Club of the Y.W.C.A. gave a varied display on Tuesday evening, October 1, when there was a very good audience of members and friends. The programme included the following items:—Danish and wand drill by Miss Edward's class, also two most attractive items of Grecian dancing and some tumbling by the students of Miss Edwards. Miss Bebe Cooke's circle gave an exhibition of drill, stall bar work and some horse drill. The programme was greatWv appreciated by the audience. Mrs. Price thanked the instructresses and. tlicir students, also Mr. Adams for his jiu jitsu display and Mr. Gerald Odliu for a popular demonstration of electric club swinging. Included in the classes were girls and children from five years upwards.
