WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government meteorologist issued I to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon I the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Tauranga, Kawliiu and Hamilton : — Moderate to fresli, Vest to southwest winds, with the weather changeable, with isolated showers. Seas will bo moderate. An anti-cyclone extends across the north Ta<sman Sea and northern Xcw Zealand, and a series of intense westerly depressions contuiucs' to jmss in the south. Hauraki Gulf Conditions. Ihe following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day: — ■ Wind .south-west, light; sea smooth; weather cloudy to dull with passing misty showers." Visibility fair; barometer steady.
