EMPIRE GAMES.
SYDNEY AS VENUE. (Received 10.30 a.m.) CAPETOWN, October 2. The Johannesburg Council of the South African Olympic and British Empire Games Association has decided to support Australia's application that the 1938 Empire Games be held at Sydney. It has offered South Africa 10 boat fares, plus expenses for the accommodation of the entire team for a period of four weeks. The members of the council declared that it was only right that the games should go round.
