A ST. JOHN AMBULANCE SERVICE. —A valuable service is provided by the St. John Ambulance Association in the provision of medical comforts for those who are unfortunate enough to be ill or injured. At a depot at the ambulance station invalid chairs, crutches and other articles can be obtained on loan. In the picture above a woman is being measured for crutches by an officer. To-morrow the association will make a street appeal to provide funds for this and other essential services.
