BURMISTER AND BLOMHELD. A match that should have interestin? developments has been arranged by the Auckland Wrestling Association for next Tuesday. Sam Burmister, who has on numerous occasions issued .challenges from the Auckland ring, meets Lofty Blomfield. Burmister, who has kept himself in excellent physical condition, should receive an ovation when he steps into the again and he can be relied upon to fully justify his claim for matches. The Auckland amateur wrestling championships will be held in the Artillery Hall, Rutland Street, next Saturday. Excellent entries have been received and hard bouts should be witnessed. The firpt 'bout will be at 1 p.m. and the finals will commence at 8 p.m. • .
McCREADY BEATS SINGH.
(By Telegraph.—l're.ss Association.) OAMARU, Wednesday. Earl McCready beat Jaget Singh in an eight-round wrestling bout last night. The Indian dumped McCready twice. McCready retaliated with two flying tackles and gained the only fall with a body press.
DRAW AT MASTERTON.
(By Telegraph.—.Press Association.) MASTERTON, Wednesday. King Elliott drew with Ole Androgen, the Swedish wrestler, before a packed house to-night. Both men gave spectacular displays. Flying tackle paved the way for a fall for Elliott early in the fifth round, while Andreseh secured a submission fall with a full leg nelson in the_ seventh. CESTOLDI BEATS LABRIOLA. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBORNB, Wednesday. Cestoldi. defeated , Labriola by two straight falls here to-night. The falls word secured in the. fourth and tilth rounds, both times with ?• body press following flying tackles.
