PLUNKET WORK.
ACTIVITIES AT NORTHCOTE. The report presented to the meeting of the Northcote Plnnket committee last night by Xurse Peacock, who relieved Miss Joan Carmichael while on annual leave, showed that 107 visits had been made to the Xortlicote rooms during September by 09 adults, fl:i babies and 35 older children, in addition to 27 visits to homes by th<> nurse, including four new eases. Voluntary motor car transport had been supplied by Mesdamcs A. Sterling, L. Hayman, X. J. Campbell and Miss Myrtle Lepper. A donation of £1 was received from the Birkdale Women's Institute. The president, Mrs. Arch Campbell, stated that Mrs. W. H. Parkes had consented to give a travel talk to members next month. Members had co-operated for the sale of tickets for to-night's performance by the Arcadian Amateur Dramatic Club, the entire proceeds from which were to be donated to the Crippled Children's Fund Mesdamos N. J. Campbell and L. Hayman are to represent the Plunket committee at the Birkenhead meeting to further the health stamp campaign.
