ROXY AND TIVOLI. The pictorial story of what happens when a man known as "the king of Broadway" and a beautiful and opera singer who believes in "dodging the public meet and fall in love is told in the bright film "Manhattan Moon, which is to open a joint dual season to-morrow nt the Roxy and Tivoli Theatres, together with "Silk Hat Kid," a thrilling actiondrama romance featuring Lew Ayres and Mae Clarke. In "Manhattan Moon Ricnrdo Cortez plays the Broadway "big shot," while a dazzling newcomer to the scrccn. Dorothy Page, of radio fame, is seen in a dual role—tliat of the opera singer and her double. # Behind the gay and musical romance is the glitter ana glamour of present day Broadway, with its fashionable restaurants, its night spots," its opera and its theatres. Cortez and Miss Page are supported by a noted group of stage and screen players, including Henry Mollison, a recent Hollywood importation, laughable Hugh O'Connell, Luis Alberni, Henry Armetta, Regis Toomey. Irving Bacon, L'Estrange Millman and Marcia Remy. The story starts when Cortez, urging Mollison, society "playboy." to pay a debt, finds lie lacks the money. In place of cash, Cortez insists that he meet the best people socially. He goes to the opera, hears Miss Page sing and falls m love with her. She is inaccessible. Cortez demands an introduction. Mollison arranges for Cortez to meet her double. Cortez does, and thinks she is the singer. From this point on excitement and laughs crowd each other until the awkward situation is adjusted to the satisfaction of all.
