DEMOCRAT LEADER.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF POLICY. MEETING AT TOWN HALL. The leader of the Democrat party, Mr. T. C. A. Hislop, who arrived in Auckland yesterday, will give a political address at the Auckland Town Hall this evening, when he will explain the full policy of the Democrat party and also announce the Democrat party candidates who have been selected. The Mayor of Auckland, Mr. Ernest Davis, w ill preside, and the meeting is timed to open at S p.m. In view of a very large attendance being expected, adequate seating arrangements have been made-, and loud speakers will be placed outside the building both in Queen Street and Grey's Avenue.,
To-day Mr. Hislop was engaged 01 work in connection with the organisation of the party.
