MISSIONS TO SEAMEN.
ENJOYABLE BRIDGE EVENING.
A bridge party organised by the Harbour Lights Guild was held in the olubrooms of the Flying Angel Mission last evening. The rooms were decorated with pink stock and arum lilies and piclured light shades. The guests, who numbered about 1-' SO, were received by Mrs. Preston Chambers, the president of the o-uild, Miss M. Clark, vice-president, and Mrs. E. W. J. Bowden, the honorary secretary, who with Mrs. It. Lawford, Mrs. A. A. Nudds, Mrs. S. Carter and Mrs. H. Henson were the hostesses for the evening. Prizes were won by Mr. F. Trait, Mr. A. McLuskie, Mrs. Prenter and Miss E. Evans. Tho proceeds will be devoted to the forthcoming nautical fair. Among tho players were: Mesdamcs J. Donaldson, G. In the social hall a number of merchant seamen were the guests of the junior branch of the Harbour Lights Guild.
