MR. H. B. BURNETT RETIRES
HARBOUR BOARD' EXECUTIVE,
Mr. If. 15. Burnett, superintendent and secretary of the Auckland Harbour Board, lias {liven notice of liis intention to retire. The notice was considered at the meeting of the board this afternoon.
Mr. Burnett will leave the services of the board at the end of the year. He lias given three months' notice, as from October 1, to retire on superannuation. Mr. Burnett joined the board 24 years ago. He became Jirst the board's secretary, then secretary and treasurer, and finally superintendent ancl secretary, relinquishing the treasurership.
