TOWN HALL MEETING.
POLICY OF DEMOCRAT PARTY
Mr. Hislop will outline the policy of tlic Democrat party at the Town Hall to-morrow evening and lie will also announce the Democrat party candidates. The meeting, which is timed to commence at 8 p.m., will be presided over by the Mayor of Auckland, Mr. Ernest Davis.
AUCKLAND CENTRAL.
INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE,
Mr. Michael Sayegh, a brother of Mr. J. Sayegh, of the Auckland City Council, has announced that he will come forward as an Independent Labour candidate at the general election, and that he will probably contest the Auckland Central seat against Mr. W. Perry, M.P., who is the official Labour candidate.
