WEATHER FORECAST.
FOB. CITY AND PROVINCE.
The Government Meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to as far south as Tauranga, Kawliia and Hamilton: — , . , Moderate to strong northerly winds. The weather will be fair, mild and hazy, but clouds will increase, and later showers are likely. Seas will be moderate. An anti-cyclone centred east of the North Island is moving slowly eastwards, and a westerly depression now extends across the Tasman Sea on to southern New Zealand.

The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, north-north-east, fresh; sea moderate; weather fine but cloudy; visibility good; barometer steady.
