WELCOME TENNIS CLUB.
The eleventh annual dinner, dance and prize-giving was held at the New Savoy rooms, Karangahape Road, on Saturday evening. The club championI ships were won by Miss E. Gay, MesI dames Studman, Allan, Gee, S. Gay, Misses E. Gay and E. Cameron, Messrs. G. Allan, 11. A. Gee, 11. Gay, J. Miller, J. Best, J. Green, D. O'Connell, R. Best. Handicap tournaments were won by Mesdames Allan and D. Smith, Misses P. Wliittaker and E. Cameron, Messrs. F. Studman, G. Allan, C. Dowden, R. Best. The prizes and club trophies were presented by the president, Mr. R. A. Gee. Among those present were: Mesdames R. Gee, W. Worrall, E. Bridgens, A. Miller, D. Allan, S. Gay, W. Pilgrim, C. Dowden. J. Rees, A. Pennell, D. O'Connell, J. Yates, F. Lamb, 11. Parker, E. Emery, G. Cameron, Grogan, W. Gay, Geal, Hunter, Langton, Brown, Best, McFiggin, R. Lamb, Misses E. Gay, J. Andrews, M. Ironsides, P. Wliittaker, S. Poynter, T. Pearce, Langton, D. Smith, L. Simpson, R. Lamb, Jones, E. Cameron, E. Morris, V. Smith, V. Spicer, S. Waddell, R. Douglas. Music was supplied by D. O'Malley's orchestra.
