ALL CLOCKS AHEAD.

SUMMERTIME AGAIN.

HALF-HOUR ADVANCE. SEVEN MONTHS' DURATION. As the institution of daylight saving has now been put into practice for several summers, it is not likely that many people will forget to adjust their clocks and watches during this weekend. Summer time officially begins at two o'clock to-morrow morning, by which time all clocks should be advanced 30 minutes.

Most people follow the 6ensible idea of putting their timepieces on just before retiring for the night. Sunday gives them the opportunity of adjusting themselves to the alteration. The adjustment of most city clocks takes place during tlie night. The hours of daylight are already steadily lengthening, and on fine days it is still light at six o'clock. Summer time will last for seven months, ending at 2 a.m. on April 20 of next year.

Statistics prove that there is more summer thunder in the Midlands and Eastern counties than in other parts of England.
