ELBOW TUG-O'-WAR.
A cold morning? Well here's just ,hf game lor y-S. Any -umber ... nlav from two upwards. 1 Mark two parallel lines along the ground, about three yards a pat; I let all who are taking, Part i J". straight row down.the nnddle N ber the players along and -let t e odds form one team and the evens another. Make the odd* turn round so that they face in the opposite direction. When all the players have linked their arms the teams are ready to begin.
In the ensuing tug-o'-war each lot of players tries to drag its opponents over the boundary line towards which they are facing and towards which the opponents have their backs. If the elbows are ?ept properly crooked there is little likelihood of the players breaking apart. The contest is not over until every opponent has been dragged backwards over the line. One point is counted for each player "captured" by the sides, the winning team being the one which has first reached a pre-determined total. '
