BUCKET TIG.

Here is a new form of tig which kee]» everyone moving. A bucket serves best for this game, but if one is not available a box, a large tin, or even a hat can be made to do. Three points are marked on the ground, all in the same straight line. At one end is a bucket; about three yards from that is the throwing line, and 12 or 15 yards beyond is the home line.

< It stands on the throwing line, with a tennis ball which he tries to throw into the biicket. On either side of him, at least a yard distant, stands a group of players—all the others are in these two groups. If It fails to get his ball into the bucket nothing happens, but if he succeeds all the rest dash for the home line, while he turns and sprints after them.
