A worried and harassed Wendy it is who goes about her Work "i a mournful Way saying in a dogged and determined tone, "Madame of the chair, ladies and supporters of the league, I am here to-day ..." Y° u see, to-morrow, at 3 p.m., she is to give her long-expected talk . . _ and I fear the worst. (Later.) Wendy is coughing heavily. (Still later.) Sneezes are now added to prolonged coughing fits.
