ACCIDENT IN CITY.
Knocked down by a motor truck when about to cross Customs Street East, near Queen's Arcade, yesterday afternoon, Mrs. Anne Pool, aged 65, of G, Woodleigli Avenue, Remuera, suffered extensive head injuries and shock. She was taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance. Her condition is reported to be still serious.
