HARMONY GROUP.

MEN'S EVENING. A novel note was introduced into the monthly meeting of the harmony group, held in the League of Penwomen's rooms on Wednesday night. It was men's niglit, the gentlemen being the hosts ior the evening. The programme was arranged and presented by them. Mr. Richards occupied the chair. Vocal solos were given ljy Messrs. Gordon Kessell, James Ram say j J. L. Barratt, Menzies and Stevenson. Mr. 11. A. Kiddey gave an elocutionary item and a musical monologue, and humorous items were contributed by Messrs. Gadsen and Culley and Mr. K. Smith. Mr. Smith also delighted the audience with .his displays of magic. The accompanist was. Mr. Alan Pow. The president, Madame Humphrey Steward, thanked those who had contributed to the programme, and congratulated the gentlemen on the successful evening's entertainment.
