NEW WOMEN'S CLUB.

A line programme of music was given at the New Women's Club on Friday afternoon, when a large number of members were present. The programme was arranged by .Mrs. D. M. Mac Donald, and the hostesses were Mrs. 1<". Robinson, Mrs. K. Malcolm and Mrs. It. Schriffcr. The soloists were Miss Burns and Mrs. de Berg; Mrs Millington and Mrs. Phtliean contributed pianoforte duets; and_ Mrs. Carte Lloyd entertained the audience with several amusing sketches, "Mrs. Killjoy Meets a Friend" being particularly enjoyable. Mrs. G. Dyson, delegate from the N.W.C. to' the National Council of Women, then gave her report of proceedings at the last council meeting and of remits dealt with at the Dominion conference of the National Council held recently

On Wednesday afternoon the usual fortnightly bridge circle met, when a good- mini lier of players were present. The prizewinners wore Mrs. Wells, Mrs. It. Martin and Mrs. Ross.
