I SELLING WELL. WOOL IN LONDON. (Received 12 noon.) LONDON, September 27. A total of 7494 bales were offered at tlie London wool sale, including 1791 New Zealand and about 5880 Australian. The New Zealand offering sold under brisk competition at full rates. Best greasy Merinos are now 5 to 7Ms per cent above July closing rates, while ordinary Merino and crossbreds are unchanged. SYDNEY WOOL SALES. SYDNEY, September 26. At the Sydney wool sales to-day 12,434 bales were offered and 11,154 were sold. Also 882 bales wore sold privately. The market closed at the best point of the week with competition strong and keen, particularly from Japan, Yorkshire, Germany and France. However, there was some irregularity for burry and dusty fleece and skirtings. Greasy Merino sold to 18 Vitd.

RABBITSKIN SALES. HIGHER PRICES RULE. (Received 3 0 a.m.) LONDON, September 26. At the rabbitskins sales 419 bales were offered, including Australian 139. New Zealand offered 286 and 126 were sold. There was a good demand. Soft-pelted advanced 20 to 25 per cent, compared with August 1. The few bucks available were 10 to 15 per cent higher, all hatters' 30 to 35 per ccnt, and racks 40 per cent. There was a moderate turnover for Saturday, banks and mining recording most business. E.. S. and A.- Bank are down slightly, to £5 5/, but the market seemed to be making again a little. Bank of New South Wales sold again at £32. National Bank of New Zealands are wanted at £3 10/6. with sellers £3 12/. Sellers of Goldsbrough. Morts raised their limits to £1 0/11, buyers advancing Bd, to £1 0/0. Procera Bread were wanted at £1 17/0 for ordinaries. Broken Hills are very firm from £2 14/ to £2 14/0. New Zealand Newspapers again sold at £2 1/, the market closing at buyers £2 0/0 and sellers £2 1/. Mount Morgans are at £1 17/, after which the market stood from £1 10/10 to £1 17/. Mount Lyells are firm, and Skippers moved up a fraction. Maori Gully did business at par.
