VALUELESS CHEQUES.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Friday. In the Police Court to-day Harry Walter Reid, charged with * issuing valueless cheques, was sentenced to 12 months' imprisonment. Accused was discharged from the Invercargill gaol in July of last year and started business in Dunedin as a boot repairer, later opening an account with several banks and issuing cherues.
