WASTE OF TIME?
Reported German Plan to Raise Loan in London. NO CONFIDENCE IN NAZIS. (Received 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, September 19. The "Sun-Herald" says that Dr. Schacht, Minister of Economics, will shortly visit London hoping to obtain a loan. He might as well stay at home, says the paper, because there is good reason to believe that the issuing houses strongly oppose loans to Germany on the grounds that there is no confidence in Germany's financial condition and that the loans will only help to strengthen Hitlerism and speed lip German rearmament.
