The Ponsonby Bowling Club lield its nnnml prize-giving social on Wednesday. \ full rink tournament was played at the Grey Lynn bowling green yesterday. E Parson (Ponsonby), Scott (Grey Lynn), Livingstone (Onehunga). 4 .wins, 1 loss. Puddle (Grey Lynn), 3 "wins, ~ losses, McPbail (Auckland), Boag ( HaUyburto 0 Tohnstone), McKejrgie, (Mount Albert); Harland (Mount Eden), Donaldson (Grey Lynn), 2 wins, 3 losses, Maud (Eden dale). 0 wins, 5 losses. Parsons, Scott and Livingstone tied. In the play-off stone eliminated Scott, and the former meets Parsons in the final later. The annual social was held during tlie week. Replying to president Buckley s welcome, Mr. A. E. Whitten heartily congratulated the club upon its mrn-ked success during the past season, and the winners of its competitions npon their successes on their own green. He then presented trophies as follows : — Championships.—Senior, L. G. Donaldson : junior, T. W. Mayson; first year, J. R. Wilson. Handicap singles, J. Higginson; club fours, T. W. Marshall, E. J.
