MR. H. GATTY'S VIEWS.
"CAPABLE OF DEVELOPMENT." After a three weeks' holiday in New Zealand Mr. Harold Gatty, the wellknown Australian" aviator who is technical adviser to the Army Air Corps, San Diego, United States, leaves by the Monterey to-morrow. He returned to Auckland this morning after a tour of the North Island, during which he visited several of the aerodromes. "Most of the aerodromes are built on good sites," he said, "and are capable of development as the air services of the Dominion increase. I was impressed by the number of New Zealanders who are interested in flying and it is a good sign that a young country has no fewer than 11 aero clubs and some 350 private A license pilots."
