BOXING TOURNAMENT MISHAP
NO SERIOUS INJURIES
(Ky Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.)
HAMILTON, this day
Fifty patrons of a boxing tournament conducted by the Hamilton Boxing Association on Saturday night were thrown heavily on the ground when a temporary wooden stand collapsed.
The stand, which comprised five tier« of seats, came down with little warning, and only a few patrons on the lowest tier managed to jump clear when sounds of splitting timber were heard. A few spectators on the bottom tiers, on whom those further up fell, received bruises and abrasions, but no serioue injury resulted.
