The first prize of £12.000 in a Taitteriall's sw-ee-p consultation has come to Auckland, tho -winner being "Still Hoping," Newmarket.
There -sr-as a good deal of speculation to-day as to the identity of the lucky investor, but the seller of the ticket could not throw any light on the matter, stating that a good many people used a pseudonym, and thus the seller had no record of the identity of the investor.
The fifth prize of £750 in the same consultation has also come to New Zealand, the prize winner being "L.E.," of Nelson.
