INCENDIARY FIRES.
QUEENSLAND CANEFIELDS

Several outbreaks of fires in the canefields around Goondi, believed to have been the result of incendiarism, have caused feelings to run high at Innisfail. The fires have been checked before serious damage was done, only about eight acres in all being burnt.
