AN AMATEUR TOURNEY.
■ The Auckland Motor Cycling Club organised a successful wrestling competition at its club rooms on Saturday night, between Auckland (A) and Hamilton (H) amateurs; ■ The main bout was between C. Steere (H) 12.8, and F. Zambucca (A) 12.10, resulting in a win for the latter by one fall in the first round.
Results of other bouts:—A. Hart (H) 9.2, beat A.' Sigley (A) 8.13, on points; H. Scott (A) 8.7, beat K. Keslia (A) by one fall; J. Dale (A) 11.3, beat W. Thomson (H) 10.13, by two falls; L. Abraham (A) 11.8, drew with J. Vitas (H) 11.10; O. Ban- (H) 12.2, beat V. Younc (A), 12.0. SYDNEY MATCH. SYDNEY, September 15. In a wrestling bout at the Leichhardt btadium last night George Pencheff gained a points decision over Johnny Woods, each securing a fall. In a minor bout Dick Cameron defeated the New Zealander Peter Guinon. the former securing one fall.
