LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.
SANDRINGHAM BRANCH. Mrs. Von Stunner was the speaker at tho September meeting of the Sandringham branch, presided over by Mrs. Wright. Mrs. Von Stunner gave an illuminating talk on her activities as an official visitor to the Mental Hospital. Elocutionary items given by Mrs. D'Authreau and vocal solos by Mrs. Owens were much enjoyed. KOHIMARAMA. At the Presbyterian Church, Kohimarama, on Monday was held the customary monthly meeting of the local branch of the League of Mothers. The president, Mrs. S. Little John, presided. Sister Grace, the speaker for the afternoon, gave a most uplifting address on the Book of Ruth. A vote of thanks to the speaker was ably voiced by Mrs. Wilson. The thought for the month was supplied by Mrs. Watson-Spence, while Mesdames Eady and Reff&ll were responsible for the musical items, which were very heartily applauded.
